H2 Tech Proposes Updates to UN Regulations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods
This week, during the session of the UN ECOSOC Sub-Committee of Experts on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, H2 Tech presented its proposals to amend the UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods — the key international framework governing logistics operations worldwide.
The proposed amendments are aimed at enhancing safety and optimizing logistics processes, particularly for liquefied gases with boiling points below –196°C. These updates build on best practices and insights gained during the development and testing of the company’s CryoSafe-42 tank container for liquid hydrogen transport.
Safe and efficient logistics for hydrogen and other cryogenic gases is one of the cornerstones of the emerging hydrogen economy. The proposed changes are intended to make long-distance hydrogen transport not only technically feasible but also maximally safe and operationally efficient.
