CryoSafe-42 Hydrogen Tank Container Makes Its Global Debut at ADIPEC 2024 in Abu Dhabi
H2 Invest unveiled the CryoSafe-42 hydrogen ISO tank to the global energy community at ADIPEC 2024 — one of the world’s largest and most prestigious energy exhibitions — held in Abu Dhabi from November 4 to 7.
For the first time, visitors could see the fully operational CryoSafe-42 on display — not a concept or prototype, but a complete, ready-for-deployment system presented in its full scale and functionality. The unit attracted strong interest from industry experts and partners for its engineering precision and elegant design, demonstrating how innovation can make hydrogen logistics both practical and commercially viable.
The container had completed its first multimodal journey to Abu Dhabi — traveling by road, rail, and sea, proving its versatility and reliability. Designed for the safe transport and temporary storage of liquid hydrogen, CryoSafe-42 enables long-distance delivery of up to 2.6 tons of hydrogen across 15,000 kilometers, maintaining cryogenic stability for over 30 days without boil-off losses.
During ADIPEC, H2 Invest held productive discussions with leading energy companies from the Middle East and Asia, including ADNOC, Masdar, Saudi Aramco, and Saudi Diesel, as well as representatives from China, India, South Korea, Indonesia, and South Africa. Several cooperation agreements were reached, paving the way for new partnerships in hydrogen logistics and infrastructure development.
At the Technology Day Conference, Victor Medvedev, CEO of H2 Invest, presented the CryoSafe-42 technology — earlier recognized with the BRICS Solutions Award in the “New Industry and Energy” category — highlighting its role in building scalable, safe, and efficient hydrogen supply chains worldwide.
“Seeing the CryoSafe-42 in person at ADIPEC marks a true milestone for our team,” Medvedev said. “In just a short development cycle, we transformed an ambitious concept into a fully operational product ready to move the hydrogen economy forward.”
H2 Invest continues to expand its international cooperation and to develop technologies that address the environmental and energy challenges of a rapidly changing world.
